Professor Dr. S M Abdur Razzak, Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), has expressed deep sorrow on behalf of the RUET family at the death of Ekushey Padak-winning eminent musician Pandit Amresh Roy Chowdhury, father of Amit Roy Chowdhury, Project Director of the 'Further Development Project' of RUET. He extended his condolences to the bereaved family. Pandit Amresh Roy Chowdhury passed away on Tuesday at his residence.
In a condolence message, the Vice-Chancellor said that Ekushey Padak-winning eminent musician Pandit Amresh Roy Chowdhury was a distinguished son of Rajshahi. 'I pray that his family members and well-wishers may overcome their grief at his demise,' he added.
